WEEK 14 (7/2/01 - 7/8/01)
Five stolen bases and a .385 average for the week give E.Y. the week 14 FPS crown. Young just edged out Dempster, who didn't give up an earned run in either of his starts. Some very unfamiliar faces show up this week (some who weren't even in an MRLB starting lineup). Julio Lugo hit just under .500, stole 3 bases, and showed show surprising pop. Cruz almost hit for the cycle, Lawton remained hot this week, and the Oakland pitching staff is showing signs of life as of late with Zito and Hudson throwing well. On to the rankings...
