MRLB Commissioner Michael J. Marcinkus held a press conference May 13th to field questions about the usefulness of FPS.  Representatives from ESPN, The Sporting News, and Stats Inc. were in attendance.  ESPN has reportedly offered the commish a seven figure deal for the rights to the statistic, but Marcinkus insists the statistic is not for sale.
