WEEK 17 (7/23/01 - 7/29/01)
Just when it looked like Rich Aurilia couldn't continue his torrid hitting pace, he finds himself atop the FPS rankings for Week 17. His 6 HRs, 11 RBIs, and .364 average were just enough to beat out pitchers Johnson and Clemens, neither of which is slowing down in the second half. The veterans are only getting stronger, as players like O'Neill, Moyer, and Pettitte finished in the top ten. Pitchers and outfielders dominated this week's top 25, but it was the Giants' shortstop who took the title. On to the rankings...
